Tetraploid (Pure Indulgence x Tetra Grace Pierce) 30” EM Re. Ev. 6” This tall circular rose purple possess a richness of color that is hard to describe. Some of the deepest purple tones I’ve seen to date have arisen from breeding with Tetra Grace Pierce, which passes on wide blunt sepals, petals and flower size. The blooms are held on erect scapes which hold the 18-20 blooms well above the foliage. A very reluctant pod parent the pollen is quite easy to use. Only slightly used by me this waxy, blunt segmented, distinctive cultivar should be pursued further by breeders of reds and purples where large size, clarity of color and increased segment width is desired
