This gorgeous orchid cream with a black violet eye and edge is a dormant. It is always interesting how two evergreen parents can pass along recessive genes for dormancy. ROCK SOLID is one we have used extensively to explore the world of eyes and edges. With its wonderful parentage I am hopeful to see intricate expressions of both black eyes and black borders. ROCK SOLID also has exquisite plant habit with excellent branching, bud count, branch and bud placement and scape density. An all around great daylily. Easily fertile both ways.
