Emerald Spring (Petit 2013) 2Fan

Emerald Spring
(Petit 2013)
(April LaQuinta x Streetcar Named Desire) (Holy Guacamole). Sev. 6" fl. 24" sc. M 30 buds. Fertile both ways. Good rust resistance. The cross of April LaQuinta onto Streetcar Named Desire created a rose pink with a slightly chartreuse edge. It was only natural to cross it with Holy Guacamole, creating the lovely Emerald Spring. The blooms are a soft ivory with a light pink blush. The petals are typically heavily ruffled, with a deep green center. The petal edges vary in color from a light chartreuse to a deep green. An important addition to the green gene pool. Given its complex background involving both pink and red, it has proven to be an important parent.
